Sirs,

Verisign should have their charter revoked and the management of .com 
and .net should be placed in other hands. 

The fact that they responded to a strongly worded ultimatum hardly 
resolves the clear and present danger that this company presents to 
the stability and fairness of the Internet. They clearly transgressed 
and then had to be forced to do the right thing. Nothing in their 
subsequent behaviour or press releases shows that they will not 
behave similarly when they see the opportunity to do so. 

Rather than a whitewash of this transgression through a long drawn-
out analysis, we should see firm, decisive action to simply remove 
this entity as a threat once and for all.
