Literally millions of computer scripts, software applications, website search
engines, and critical business/operational elements of the internet, are
dependent upon the well-established standard DNS error response for
non-existent domain names. Verisign should immediately have its authority over
the management of the .com, .net, and .org domain databases revoked, with a new
business organization (or perhaps three separate organizations) that can
demostrate public trustworthiness being granted this management role.
I have signed and I agree with the petition at http://www.whois.sc/verisign-dns/
