[wildcard-comments] Verisign DNS abuse

Verisgns actions caused a DOS for a weekend. A temporary glitch in a companies
DNS server caused it to fail to respond. Versign immediately decided that this
was a non valid address and so returned its sitefinder IP. Which being a valid
IP address got cached by other DNS servers in the tree. Hence when the real DNS
server came back online, it was never queried as the bad address had been
cached. A total screw up of the DNS system. Report errors as errors!!!
I have signed and I agree with the petition at http://www.whois.sc/verisign-dns/
