[wildcard-comments] Verisign DNS abuse

Verisign has clearly made a last-ditch effort to stay alive by inserting the
wildcard record for their SiteFinder service into .com and .net. We certianly
should not let their tiny company's finances dictate Internet reliability and
behavior. If a consumer wants such a "site finder" service, they can bring it
up with the producer of their web browser -- which, to name one, Microsoft
already has provisions for (such as MSN Search and Google's Toolbar).
End-users who think Site Finder being pushed onto the entire Internet is a good
idea is simply ignorance. The Internet is much more than the web, as we all
know. I'll be looking forward to 11/10/2007, when ICANN's agreement with
Verisign expires.
I have signed and I agree with the petition at http://www.whois.sc/verisign-dns/
