If there was an aspect of SiteFinder that consumers enjoyed, it could only have
been the fact that it forced proper typing upon them. Throwing an error of
their causing in their face by having the corrupt corporate machinery operating
the world's two most beloved domains littering the space with ads, it would
take VeriSign writing out a check to these users in these surveys to get them
to approve of such blatant nonsense. Monopolies have not been allowed to stand
in the past, VeriSign is quickly becoming a group whose CEO even shows a
blatant disregard for the average online browser who could settle for one less
advertisement in their lives. The Internet and its two largest TLDs are not a
privilege that requires us to provide profit to VeriSign just for the service.
The day the Internet becomes such a monstrocity will be the end of it.

I have signed and I agree with the petition at http://www.whois.sc/verisign-dns/
