To be blunt, Friday afternoon is too late for several reasons.
As Vittorio points out, it will not be used for preparing
our comment for Public Forum. I like to see the collective work,
rather than just trusting the chair or anuyone.

Second, I have made the reservation to fly out on Friday afternoon,
assuming that not many ALAC members would stay. I checked the
flight schedule again hoping to change into later flight, but that
is the latest flight of the day for me.

I was surprised to hear that no meeting is scheduled on Thursday
afternoon. While I understand that some people want to spend
that time for touring or sightseeing, I think we are paid to come
here to work and we have an obligation for that. I would still
suggest to have a ALAC meeting within the working
time-frame and spend leisure time only after our primary work
is done. Or, to find any mutual compromise.
