Thoughts on Variable Pricing

Today, I was made aware of this topic now being considered by ICANN.
I'm a small business owner and I find this to be just another way
someone else can ruin my business.  I'm already concerned with scammers
and hackers and all the other unscrupulous people out there who throw
wrenches in the works of domain name owners.  Now, I might have to worry
that when my registration expires in a few months, I could be extorted
out of thousands of dollars to keep the name that I've already invested
my time and money into.  Please, count my vote against this action.
