Because it is the top TLD extension, it is highly important that the
.com renewal prices are not allowed to significantly increase in the
coming years. Besides, the costs are not changing for the processing
renewals and managing of these names. So there is little
justification for raising prices other than greedy and excessive
profit. That is my comment.
