L.s, ICANN
I understand that there will soon be around 1,500 new strings in the root. I
know ICANN has done studies on the impact but has only decided that 2 of the
strings are worth slowing down. 2? Out of 1,500?
Doesn't it make sense to slow down the deployment of more than just two
until we know how this is going to go? The only reason we made it through
Y2K without a problem is that we put time, effort, and money into fixing
this.
None of that is being done now but it really needs to be addressed to
prevent a big issue down the road.
With Kind Regards, Met vriendelijke groet,
Jeffrey Broer
