ICANN,
I am greatly concerned about the proposed rule changes that would not
allow many individuals and companies to their right to privacy. With the
world the way it is today, it is extraordinarily easy to find personal,
private information on any individual, and so the guarantee of some
privacy at least in terms of WHOIS data provides individuals at last
some security over their privacy. This poses no barrier to legal
investigations, where a simple court order will provide the relevant
details to the court without unnecessarily exposing them to the public.
Please reconsider this rule change and protect users' privacy rights.
Thank you!
Gabriel Morales
