Respect our privacy

Dear ICANN,

I believe that people should have the right of privacy. Privacy is a basic
human right according to the UN Declaration of Human Rights, and should be
respected. Your proposed new rules about sites' WHOIS and their
availability, if implemented, will violate this, removing privacy from the
people of the internet. It should not be mandatory to give away your home
address just to have a website, which there are nearly 1,000 million of.
Would you tell a potentially harmful stranger your address out of the blue?
No? Now what about 3 billion potentially harmful strangers?
