Dear ICANN –

Regarding the proposed rules governing companies that provide WHOIS privacy
services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy Services Accreditation
Issues Policy document):

I urge you to respect internet users' rights to privacy and due process.
- Everyone deserves the right to privacy.
- No one’s personal information should be revealed without a court order,
regardless of whether the request comes from a private individual or law
enforcement agency.
- Removing privacy protections will make owning a small business with a
website a very risky endeavor. Overall, this will discourage small business
ownership and our right to it. Small business should not have to give out
their home address unless the party requesting it has a legally valid
reason for needing it. ICANN will not only make owning a small business
difficult, but put lives in DANGER by giving out people's home address.

Private information should be kept private. We have a right to our safety
and our privacy. Thank you.
