To whom it may concern,
I am writing to you today to comment on the proposal to end WHOIS
privacy. WHOIS privacy is enormously important to protect free speech. If
people are going to be able to post controversial opinions online, and to
run sites hosting controversial opinions, WHOIS privacy is a necessity. The
internet is full of people who are waiting to harass, threaten, and
physically attack their idealogical enemies. Please do not change rules
regarding WHOIS privacy, instead help protect peoples' privacy and safety.
