 It's completely unjustified and an extraordinarily bad idea.  It exposes many 
vulnerable people to abuse and attack without recourse.
This is exactly the sort of scenario that SHOULD go through court systems, as 
they have procedures for unveiling anonymity in controlled ways.  Bypassing 
them is directly harmful to actual people.
You should, instead, consider removing the requirement for the publication of 
any contact information from the public record, beyond that of the registrar. 
What was appropriate 30 years ago, no longer is.
