If you have been paying any attention to the internet and media at all, you
know that people, especially women, who post anything at all that someone
wants to dislike can be subjected to harassment, up to and including death
threats, threats of assault, threats against their families, and harassment
of their employers and friends. There is no reason to make the change to
WHOIS; subpoenas can be served to those that need that information.
In fact, I'd like you to make privacy the *default* not the paid extra. You
would be doing a real service for the safety and freedom of people around
the world.
