iCANN - Respect Our Privacy

Dear ICANN,

 

I read recently of the proposed rule changes governing companies that
provide WHOIS privacy services (as set forth in the Privacy and Policy
Services Accreditation Issues Policy document).

The current system using a proxy registration service (fulfilling the rules
of ICANN), keeps my private information private, unless there is a request
to reveal it with a court order.

If this is changed, there is a much greater chance of harassment,
intimidation and identity theft.

 

Private information should be kept private.
