Hi,

I am a developer, hobbyist, blogger, and a swell person in general.
Regardless, I did get threats over the Internet - I am pretty sure anybody
having any sort of opinion got at least one some time or another.

As a private person using his address for domain registration I fear to
think what would have happened if someone would get my HOME address in the
moment of passion. Forget the physical mail I could get, forget the
possibility of idiots appearing at my doorstep, forget the beauty of
somebody swatting you, forget any possible bad outcome... Only then you can
be for removing domain name privacy.

I am just one of many private people with a domain who cannot put nameless
work address on their registration and whose private life and domain
identity are one and the same. For our sake do allow for proxy service. Do
not punish privacy in advance.
