The survival and success of ICANN depend on its financial assets and its
dynamic management. But of utmost importance is the survival and proliferation
of the registry operators. The more money the registry operators can invest in
innovative projects as well as the promotion of these projects, the better it
is for ICANN. At least, ICANN should reduce its fees for the registries having
less than 25,000 names.
Both ICANN and the registry operators are aiming at a better Internet, for
today’s needs and the ones for tomorrow. Both ICANN and the registry operators
depend on each other.
