Dear ICANN,
Japan Registry Services Co., Ltd. (JPRS) appreciates the opportunity
to comment on Proposed Amendments to Base New gTLD Registry Agreement.
As a TLD ".jprs" Registry Operator, JPRS respectfully submits the
following comment.
Specification 5, Section 3.4 requires Registry Operator to allocate
the domain name "icann-sla-monitoring.<tld>" to the ICANN testing
registrar (ID 9997) upon delegation of the TLD into the root zone.
Section 3.4 does not clearly say when Registry Operators of delegated
TLDs shall allocate "icann-sla-monitoring.<tld>" to ICANN testing
registrar.
We request ICANN to provide the guidance regarding allocation of
"icann-sla-monitoring.<tld>" to the Registry Operator of delegated
TLD in timely manner after adoption of the Amendments to Base New
gTLD Registry Agreement.
