Dear Madam/Sir,

Please kindly find below the comments of the Hellenic Republic
(Greece/Hellas) on the Final Report of the ccNSO Study Group on the use of
Country and Territory Names.

1. The issue of the country and territory names is very complex, therefore
the Hellenic Republic regognises the importance of the work carried by the
ccNSO Study Group on the use of these names as TLDs, congratulates the
members of the Group for the quality of their work and thanks them for
their time and efforts.

2. The Hellenic Republic endorses the recommendations of the Study Group.
More specifically, more time is needed in order to conclude to viable
guidelines of a high degree for such a complex subject.

3. Given the fact that there is a number of disputes over the country and
territory names worldwide (including names in different languages and/or
scripts), we believe that the addition of the following text is necessary:
"The eligibility procedure (of a given TLD process, ccTLD or gTLD, latin
or IDN) is not valid in cases there are pending issues or unresolved
disputes between countries or territories in the UN".

Kind Regards,
