[dssa] Welcome and initial logistics

Dear all,
First, welcome to the DSSA WG and email-list.
To date the participants are from the ALAC, ccNSO, GNSO, NRO and SSAC and all 
participants in this working group as well as ICANN staff support are all 
listed at: http://ccnso.icann.org/workinggroups/dssa-wg.htm

The charter of the DSSA WG can be found there as well. Please note that the the 
working group that there is also an open wiki available, to be found through 
the DSSA WG webpage.

The participating SO/AC’s ( ALAC, ccNSO, GNOS and NRO acting as ASO) have all 
designated a co-chair for this working group. These are:
Mikey O’Connor (interim) for the GNSO
Jörg Schweiger  -- for the ccNSO
Mark Kosters  -- for the NRO
Olivier MJ Crepin-Leblond  -- for the ALAC

The co-chairs have had a first conference call to discuss some of the logistics 
and agreed:

According to the charter the wg should first create a work plan. The goal is to 
have draft work plan ready by the Singapore ICANN meeting ( 19-24 June 2011).

In order to reach that goal, the co-chairs will prepare a straw man to be 
discussed by the group on the list and at two conference calls prior to the 
Singapore meeting.
The alternative dates for the calls are:
Conference call 1:  Thursday 19 May or Tuesday 24 May and
Conference call 2:  Thursday 9 June or Tuesday 14 June.
Tentative time for the call is around noon or 1 pm UTC.

We will send out a Doodle shortly to schedule the dates and times.

The co-chairs also foresee that a f-2-f meeting (with possibility of remote 
participation) of the wg during the Singapore meeting. Tentative date ifor the 
f-2-f is: Thursday 22 June 2011 from 11-12.30 am local time with an option to 
run through until 1 pm.
