Hi Everyone

My name is Andre Thompson. I am a Systems Engineer at the University of the 
West Indies, St. Augustine Campus in Trinidad and Tobago (http://sta.uwi.edu/).
I deal with various technologies from Routing and Switching at the Campus level 
to datacenter technologies such as Virtualization and HVAC.

I am the lead Engineer in adopting IPV6 for the campus and is now in the 
planning stages of implementing DNSSEC.
I also have other skills including Database and Web Development technologies 
(PHP, .NET) and have been asked on many occasions to lecture some Computer 
Science courses which include various Internet Technologies.

On the topic of hobbies and in keeping with the music theme, I am a Lyric Tenor 
and so I sing opera. I do also enjoy playing the (acoustic) guitar both Spanish 
and Classical style.

I hope to meet everyone sometime in the near future :-)
