After reviewing this report and its recommendations, it is my opinion
that it is ready to be forwarded to the Council for public comment
followed by action at the soonest possible Council meeting after the
public comment period.  As far as I can tell this report has no material
changes to the technology recommendations that were contained in the
original report submitted by the CCT and they were very good in that
report.
 
I encourage everyone on the OSC to review the latest report and be
prepared if possible to discuss it and possibly take action on it in the
Nairobi OSC meeting.
 
Mason plans to participate remotely in the Nairobi OSC meeting and will
be available for questions then, but questions may be asked before then
on this list.

        Dear OSC Members:

         

        I am pleased to report that, after receiving the OSC's feedback
regarding the original CCT report submitted on 31 October 2009, we have
succeeded in addressing the feedback and suggestions offered.  We
accepted the OSC's recommendation to bifurcate the original report into
two sections.  Attached to this email is Report I-Technology
Recommendations, which I hope the OSC will approve and forward to the
GNSO Council.  Report II, which will contain additional Communications
and Coordination Recommendations, is still under development and will be
submitted at a later date.  My hope is that we will complete this final
report by the end of March 2010.
