Trademark Protection Draft Report

Hello!

RU-CENTER, Russian registrar, thanks ICANN for the chance 
to comment on the new draft from the Implementation 
Recommendation Team (IRT). 

Please, find our comments regarding Draft IRT Report below.

1)We join to others in opinion that 7 day comment period over 
this draft report is way too short.

2)In accordance with Russian law private individual has a 
right to privacy. We have a lot of problems with gTLD's 
now and it will be great to take into account this fact.

3)If one country made an order for IDN TLD. There are a 
lot of companies which have their trademarks registered in 
Latin language, but also there are companies which have 
their trademarks registered in Native language. How we will 
take into consideration rights both of them?

4)We think that IP Clearinghouse creation is a good idea 
because information providing to the registry takes our 
clients a lot of time. And they should make it every time 
in case of new registration. 

5)We propose to get WIPO to take part in IP Clearinghouse 
creation because of their big experience in this area.

6)It is necessary to be very careful making the Globally 
Protected Marks list. As for us it is almost impossible 
to create it.
