On Edmon's bullet points below, I would not ask "what part of the GNSO
recommendations need to be revised". The GNSO recs have served as the template
for development of the new gTLD program for a number of years now and the JIG
should certainly not be looking at revising them.

- what should be considered (if any) by the IDN ccPDP on the topic
- For IDN variants:
- whether or not (and if not why) the Synchronized IDN ccTLD
approach would work for IDN gTLDs
- What other Policy considerations need to be addressed?
- i.e. what part of the GNSO policy recommendations need to be
revised/clarified?
- other issues not addressed by the GNSO policy recommendations?
- any issues not included and should be included for considerations
in the IDN ccPDP?
Finally, regarding universal acceptance of IDN TLDs:
- Briefing from relevant staff on how that is progressing and how this group
can help further those efforts with an emphasis on IDN TLDs and also the
involvement of ccTLDs because of IDN ccTLDs.
