After their offices are flooded
with complaints from 
the millions of domain registrants
whose businesses are threatened by this proposed change.

Given that petitions will circulate quickly via email
it probably won't take long.

This threatens the very ecommerce model
the internet is now built on.

It will never stand.
This proposal was a major strategic error.
And I expect under pressure from constituents,
Congress will act to change ICANN's authority.
