CADNA is pleased to have the opportunity to participate in both the Comment
Period and the Reply Cycle for Phase II of the Public Comments Process
Enhancements. Below please find our reply:

CADNA concurs with the numerous comments calling for the revision of the Phase
II Public Comments Enhancements to include a flexible Reply Cycle. In our
previous comments, we suggested a 30 day minimum length for the Reply Cycle.
While we still believe that the proposed 15 day Reply Cycle should be
lengthened to a 30 day minimum, we believe it would be even more beneficial to
stakeholders to implement a flexible Reply Cycle. As issues vary in their
importance and relevance to stakeholders, so will the number of comments that
ICANN receives. For some Comment Periods, a 30 day Reply Cycle may be more than
adequate time to analyze all submitted comments and submit a thoughtful reply.
At other times, the sheer volume of comments submitted will require more than
30 days to prepare replies.
