vehemently opposed to raising prices for domain names!!!
I am a Domain name reseller for Directi and a web hosting reseller, as well as a web designer. I do not support the proposed arrangement of allowing increases to the cost of a domain name for my clients!!! You will constrict business as well as slow down the fabulous growth of the world wide web. Constricting business deliberately appears to a be a greedy price grab for profit. DO NOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN!!!!! THERE IS NO LOGICAL REASON TO RAISE PRICES FOR DOMAIN NAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS CLEAR THAT POLITICAL MOTIVATIONS ARE BEHIND THIS PROPOSAL. THE GOODWILL OF THE WORLD WIDE WEB WILL BE DIMINISHED IF THIS PROPOSAL IS ALLOWED TO GO FORWARD. RAISING PRICES WILL ALLOW THE RICH TO GET RICHER AND THE POOR TO BE LEFT OUT.
