Opposed to this new .xxx domain

This push for a new domain, while possibly with good intentions, is pure
folly. On a social level, pornography has perpetuated many attitudes and
addictions that promote sex crimes, failed marriages and relationships,
and abnormal sexual gratification. Legitimizing this industry by
providing a separate domain will only fuel these problems. Beyond the
social level, there is a legal aspect of domain enforcement. What is to
stop a pornographic content provider from maintaining websites on two
domains, such as .xxx and .com? What is the real efficacy of providing a
new domain? It doesn't limit the profligation of pornographic websites;
it just provides a separate, justified domain for more websites. I am
opposed to this proposal. Please consider the implications of this
proposal, and decide against it.

Respectfully,

Anthony Harper
