        Dear Afilias,

For what it's worth, you really ought to shut Sunrise down.  Trademark owners likely got in their requests through the Sunrise queues.

Currently, all that is happening is that more and more generic, non-trademarked domains are being taken from the public domain through false claim of trademark, or through no claim of trademark whatsoever.  It is quite distressing to watch.

Just today, and minute-by-minute, the following got assigned, all through what appear to be either false claims of trademark (judging from the USPTO TESS database), or in some cases no claim of trademark whatsoever:

mexicocity.info
mediterranean.info
batonrouge.info
rhodeisland.info
nebraska.info
hdtv.info
minneapolis.info (assigned, even with no trademark claim)
maldives.info (assigned, even with no trademark claim).

Do you really have to let this happen?  Please just close Sunrise down.
