But, I respectfully suggest that we are going off the track.  There is urgency about recognizing the rights of pre-registrants before startup period(I am in no way suggesting other issues are not important).  If Afilias takes a lead, registrars will be under obligation to maintain the database of pre-registrants. Afilias may not commit to a particular solution but by making a brief announcement, they will keep the door open. Amar
