".shop, .xxx, .inc, become an indistinguishable user experience from any other domain through the clever masking of the new.net extension which in no way affects or disrupts the DNS structure." ...which only works for users who have the right plug-in, or who are using a participating ISP.  In all other cases, if you try to "use new.net domains indistinguishably" without the .new.net ending, you just get "not found" errors.
