Although many false applications will get through, Afilias has made a deal with the World Intellectual Property Organisation to submit to them "a list" of all the registrations with obviously false information, presumably at little or no cost to Afilias. One poster who spoke to an Afilias rep said that the checking procedure will be 'thorough'. One would assume that Afilias will do extensive cross referencing of its WHOIS to catch serial offenders. Of course Afilias will receive extra revenue from a successful challenge (through subsequent registrants), so I'd expect them to be *reasonably* thorough in this process. Cheers, Dave
