My point was that I was calling out the difference in your proposal from giving a name that resolves vs. giving an "attractive" name that resolves.

Since our goal has been, since day one, to run a TLD registry, if your proposal has utility, the 2nd level .com that we would put it under should be irrelevant.

Otherwise, it just sounds like you're trying to convince IOD to spend a lot of money on web.com and then spend even more money and time dealing with collisions. That's not a productive use of either.

If putting everything under web.com makes sense because it provides resolution services, then putting it under webtld.com should make just as much sense.

So, in that respect, I'd be pleased to consider it. We could implement it in a weekend. Show of hands?
