The article says: "Afilias has set up a domain dispute resolution process with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to resolve these issues and will even use a computer program of its own devising to challenge pre-registration generic domain names, but won't start on resolution until early 2002."  http://www.internetnews.com/bus-news/article/0,,3_909541,00.html

Afilias said it would challenge names at the end of Sunrise Challenge, deadline December 26.  So a list will have to go up after that, at WIPO.  Then disputes will be resolved, guess in early 2002 was the article said.  So, challenges by the end of the year, with them sorted out in the months after that.
