Then I would suggest to use the new NameSlinger/PacificRoot Plug-In.

It supports ICANN ;-), New.net, PacificRoot, Nameslinger.
And when there is a confilcting/colliding/multiple domain, the Plug-In asks you which domain you want to see:

"Resolve conflict

A conflict has been detected. In other words, two or more organizations have the given name registered. Select a root server below to resolve the conflict.

ICANN
Name.Space

[] Always automatically select this resolver for this name
[] Always automatically selext this resolver whenever it is available"


You can test this by typing in e.g. www.nic.info in your browser bar.


You should decide which domain you want to see, not ICANN or your ISP.
It is easy to (un)-install
Test it - there is no risk. You can uninstall it everytime.
