Subject: How about Annual .biz Bashing....

.biz is a failure. If you buy domain names for their speculative value, dont waste your bucks. Penny stocks and junk bonds are a better investment; at least you can sell them to get some of your money back.

I (as an active domain name investor) have come to the conclusion that domain name speculation has hit the dirt.

Only .com has a resale value. Pumping new.net, .web, .tv. or whatever other crap out there will not increase their value.

Only .info has a remote chance of being worth something in the future; and that depends on the quality and scope of the content.

Good luck and dont bet the farm on .biz. All the generic terms have been hijacked, so what is the point anyway? If you want to use ONE name for your business, then God Bless. But buying up variations of generic phrases and terms will turn out to be a waste of money because the only domain names with legitimate random type-in search value are .com, .net, and .net (soon .info will join this group, I am willing to bet).

Thats all folks.
