These New.net types...you can smell them coming a mile away....

They claim that new.net will free everyone from the grips of ICANN....

Now explain to me, how this would benefit the consumer if New.net were to take over????  Bad logic, and old trick

They claim that new.net has a 75 million internet audience??  Who is buying this

They claim that new.net domains will be liked because the "market" decided they liked these domains (market approach)???  PLEASE!!!

They claim everyone wants hundreds of domains?  So why not allow new.net have 30 of them....First off, most people haven't the foggiest idea of what the true potential of a domain can be.  Your talking about a very small niche group of individuals who want "hundreds" of new TLDs....

Hundreds of new TLDS......With 90 percent of access to websites coming from search engines, how is this concept even viable.  Marketing sure would be fun....Come to MyName.website!!  You pay Yahoo the $299 fee, and whallah, your on the 12th page...How long do you think you'll want to keep paying those hosting fees????

Keep things in perspective ladies and gentlemen.  The internet is not a toy.  It's about being able to find "info" when you need it (without much trouble), and it's about purchasing goods, which so happens to help fund new R & D, to make the internet even better...

So the next time you see a post from a "concerned" new.net supporter.  Just realize they want new.net universal for a very narrow reason...Who could blame them?  They thought they were buying something that would take them someplace.  What a statement about our own blindness when it comes to seeking a better life.....
