      Look at .tv. They definitely made money with those initial prices, and anyone who actually PAYED those huge retail prices is pretty pissed off right now. Namely because the names aren't worth a piss because they dont generate traffic; and therefore don't earn money. "Notoriety" in a domain is not value; nor is the potential for business ventures.
.biz will fade like .tv and .cc have; with no one renewing even the generic terms in these URL's.

Oh, by the way: My sympathies to whoever spent 1 million dollars on beauty.cc (greatdomains.com). You would have to look pretty hard to find a DUMBER way of burning off one million bucks.
