You say, "The exception is where registrars who made honest processing mistakes and didn't include TM information will be given a chance to amend their data."

Surely then - those that got a domain lose it?

Those that got domain get put in with others Landrush crowd.

Then domain should go to those in Landrush crowd.

Else Big Business domains will be put down to 'honest processing mistakes' ;-)

If you know what I mean.

Like for instance wasn't 'science.info' an 'honest processing mistake' ;-)

I believe they and others colluded with the registrar to get these domains.

Given their actions, don't you?

You say, "This amendment is quite overdue of course, but at least it's one step in the right direction to avoid squatters."

.info is an OPEN TLD - so words can be used for any reason.

Mr Nissan can use nissan.info along with his nissan.com for his computer business.

AND if he wanted to, use it to sell cars - providing he does not claim to be THE Nissan Motors - that is trademark fraud.

This being an OPEN TLD - by squatters - I presume you mean those that get fordmotors.info and not those that get ford.info?

Check your dictionary for meaning of the word 'ford'.

Trademarks 'raison d'être' is to identify source of goods or services.

NOT to claim world rights to the word.

Big business will still be able to screw us - are you really that naive to believe Sunrise is just about squatters?
