Personally, I've always advocated no preferential treatment to common dictionary words - trademark or no trademark, big business or no business. This would have preserved the integrity of the TLD in the long run and would have been equitable for all.

RE: 'honest processing  mistakes' - I'm not sure exactly what Afilias is going to allow, but it specifically mentioned cases where TM data was ommitted completely and said that it wouldn't allow people to change their data to avoid being challenged on December 26. It sounds rather amgious though, doesn't it? I would assume that science.info will not be considered an honest mistake according to Afilias' criteria however. Pity.
