I have an idea myself actually which may help to publicise the injustice. How about contacting university computer science depts accross the world and asking them to put a petition up on notice boards? This sort of thing used to happen at my old University, and some of the senior academic staff had strong feelings against corrupt cultures (hence they chose not to work in idustry). Contacting a load of universities would educate and make better known the ins and outs of the culture in question, after all numerous students as well as academic staff/ authors highly respected in the IT world would hear about it.
