For all intents and purposes this is true. There are just some forms of tort e.g. direct slander by an individual not acting under the auspices of a company, where the individual can be sued directly.

Setting up a company does not give carte blanche protection for some forms of individual professional negligence as well, but for an incorporated society like the one proposed here, individuals would definitely not be financially responsible for unrecoverable debts if the society was sued.
