Subject: Countries have a whole TLD to themselves

Message:

Countries can have millions of domain names - can't they?

Millions of SLD - eg. South Africa could use SouthAfrica.za, Government.za, CapeTown.za, etc. etc.

Yet many more millions of third level - anything.gov.za, anthing.air.za, anything.zoo.za, etc. etc. etc. etc.

Would you be restricted from writting a book about South Africa?

Then why should you be stopped from having SouthAfrica.com?

Barcelona council took Barcelona.com off the legal owner. Why not use Barcelona.es or Barcelona.gov.es?

This is all about abuse of power.
