Looks like you have to pay the Trademark Office to get trademark - even if you do not want one. That is, if your business name does not conflict with one already taken. One of my friends has a business (using his surname), which he cannot register trademark - it conflicts with a trademark. Hope they do not find his website. Small local businesses should be able to run without getting trademarks. Like I have said a thousand times - they know the solution. To not use it - the authorities are corrupt.
