Subject: "SpyProductions did the right thing"... a question

This isn't a witch hunt.
I only want a reasoned explanation of how you equate these two statements.

1.  "SpyProductions did the right thing."
2. Spy Productions put in fake TM numbers, cheated and lied.

I simply cannot help identifying a contradiction between those two statements. I just don't get the logic.

What was at stake, looking at the broader picture which involved many other Registrars, was integrity of the process, the need for the public to trust the Registry/Registrar system, and the loss of about $3,000,000 by consumers who lost the chance for a Landrush name that they had paid for.

"SpyProductions did the right thing." What you did was give priority to your customers at the expense of other people's customers, by using deception and breaking the rules.

Should consumers really accept that the Registrars they rely on operate in that kind of moral vacuum?
