appear to apply to the execs and board at ICANN.

If the ICANN staffers receive the blame of Karl Auerbach, then what of those who selected, trained and supervised the staffers at fault?

The selection of Afilias as the .info registry would only have been the responsibility of ICANN's most senior staff.

The responsibility of monitoring the .info roll out would also have been the responsibility of very senior staff.

The staff are to blame - no I don't think so.  What were the board and management execs doing through the abomination of the .info rollout?

Let's deal with facts.  The Afilias .info roll out was a momentous and scandalous f*ck-up and or scam, starting with ICANN approving a grossly inadequate IP and client protection policy for the .info Sunrise - which of course made a great many registrars and the Registry a great deal of money at the expense of bona fide IP holders and Landrushers.

Sack the Board or the scams and the scapegoating of others will continue.
