It appears Afilias are calling both Govinda Leopold and DuPont cybersquatters.

Well done Afilias - keep telling the truth and you may get some support.

News Article from Reuters:

WASHINGTON, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Internet users will get a chance in May to reserve domain names like hawaii.info and science.info, after domain manager Afilias finishes rousting thousands of cybersquatting speculators from the new Web marketplace, Afilias said Monday.

"By the end of May, the whole sunrise thing will be behind us," said Roland LaPlante, Afilias chief marketing officer.

(Garry comment: After you commit a crime of fraud, do the police let you get away with it?)

Afilias, had set up a sunrise period to allow companies to reserve trademarked names like www.cocacola.info before cybersquatters could claim them and sell them back for exorbitant fees.

(Garry comment: Did Afilias do any checks on the validity of trademark? Did the Authorities warn them they are abridging use of words for the people - in what was, after all said and done, an open gTLD? etc.)

There is still more bull* propaganda in the article - but read it for yourself.
