Subject: Doesn't ICANN receive commission on every domain sold by its 'accredited' registrars?

It is no wonder then, that they are happy for Sunrise style scams, as presumably, that means they get two lots of commission, the first being a hefty 5 year lump sum of commission in advance.

It is interesting to note that only ICANN accredited registrars were allowed to take part in the sunrise period.

I can quite imagine ICANN, Afilias and Jones-Day all agreeing that it is best to not check the TM data at registration.

No wonder ICANN aren't prepared to do anything about it. It was probably their bloody idea.
