But what can you do about that? People of Bora Bora Island have the same rights as people in the US. If they have a trademark, it has to be considered equal to a US tradmark, otherwise US companies/ people will always win over Bora Bora Island companies and people and that would be racially prejudice.

Adding an extra layer of prejudice onto a saystem which is already being abused by big business and without any honourable intervention by governments would make things even less fair. Perhaps it will happen. It wouldnt surprise me.
